2nd international conference on oceanography for West Asia

Researchers in the field of marine and oceanic sciences will have presentation in four online workshops on the second International Conference on Oceanography in West Asia from September 13 to 17 to share the latest marine scientific findings in the region.

In these four workshops, which will be held from September 13th to 16th, as well as the second conference on West Asian Oceanography on September 16th and 17th, with the participation of professors, specialists and students in the field of maritime studies by the Regional Center for West Asian Oceanography from Iran, India, Oman, Germany, Indonesia, Kuwait, Belgium, Canada, Russia, Australia and Norway, The researchers will have presentations regarding their latest scientific findings in the field of marine, oceanic and atmospheric science and technology.

The presentations will be given be given in Persian and English.

The four workshops will be held on "The condition of corals in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman", "Microplastic pollution in marine environments", "The effect of climate change on marine biogeochemical processes" and "early Tsunami warning system".

In addition to teaching research methods, researchers discuss the challenges and issues of these scientific fields.
